DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT THE LODGE
Once you’ve arrived at the lodge, take a moment to drop off your luggage and make yourself comfortable. Then take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and immerse yourself in the magnificent natural landscape. You can explore the hiking trails, admire the breathtaking panoramas or simply relax in the midst of this unspoilt nature. In the evening, treat yourself to a delicious, hearty dinner that will delight your taste buds and recharge your batteries for the adventures ahead.
DAY 2 – CANOEING GRAND CANYON
Head to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of France’s most beautiful villages, for a day of free canoeing. Take advantage of our self-guided canoe trips and explore the breathtaking scenery of the Verdon lakes, including Sainte-Croix Lake and the fascinating Grand Canyon. Never go off on your own: a professional guide is essential for the upper and middle Verdon. In all cases, we take care of the equipment and logistics for your expedition. This is a “Moderate” difficulty level, which means you need to be a bit athletic to be able to link up activities over several days. Please read our descriptions carefully and call us if you have any questions.
To participate in this program, children must be over 10 years of age. To take part in aquatic activities, you must be able to swim.
Which accommodation ?
We have specific dates for this holiday. You can register according to your availability. We reserve accommodation for you in a picturesque natural setting close to the Gorges du Verdon. We do our utmost to ensure that you have a private room, but in the rare cases where this is not possible, we provide comfortable dormitories adapted to your group. For people traveling alone, we group participants together in shared rooms. Sheets and blankets are provided, so please bring your own personal linen and toiletries.
Meals during your stay?
The lodge offers a half-board formula, which means that breakfast and dinner are included in your stay. You can start your day with a delicious breakfast prepared just for you, and end it with a hearty dinner. For lunch, you’re free to explore the surrounding area and sample local specialties in nearby restaurants. Take advantage of this opportunity to explore the regional gastronomy and taste the typical dishes of the area.

You can register online by paying a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay. Our teams will send you a payment link for the balance on D-15.
What are the safety conditions for this trip ?
When you register, you must confirm your age, fitness level and sporting ability.
Your guide may judge that you clearly do not have the necessary level for the activity.
Your guides and Verdon Voyages will provide all the safety equipment and materials required for the descent. Unless otherwise stated, all activities are supervised by a state-certified guide.
In the event of bad weather or poor activity conditions ?
The activities you are about to undertake are subject to weather risks. Verdon Voyages or your guide may therefore decide to cancel or modify part of the activity for safety reasons. Such cancellations are rare.
In such cases, we will propose a replacement activity depending on weather conditions. However, if no replacement activity is possible, we will compensate you for part of the cost of your stay. This compensation will not exceed 50% of the requested price, as accommodation and meals are non-refundable.
Cancellation policy :
- Before D-180 : Full refund
- Between D-180 and D-61: a handling fee of 5% of the reservation amount will be retained.
- Between D-60 and D-8: the deposit paid at the time of booking will be retained.
- After D-7: no refund will be made in the event of cancellation.
