The following document describes the general conditions of use of the Verdon Voyages platform, which you must accept before finalizing your booking for activity, accommodation or holiday packages on our website.
We strongly advise you to download this document in order to keep a record of the general conditions of use in force at the time of your purchase. Verdon Voyages may need to change these conditions without notice. However, the only terms and conditions that will be binding on you are those you sign before finalizing the transaction.
If you do not accept what we write here, you will not be able to complete your online purchase. Please let us know what you do not agree with.
We also reserve the right to interpret this document as we see fit.

1 Site ownership

This website is the exclusive property of Agence Verdon Voyages. Only members of the company have the right to make changes.

2 Verdon Voyages legal information

Verdon Voyages is a local incoming agency based in the Verdon region and registered with Atout France under number IM004180001.
Verdon Voyages declares that it has taken out professional insurance – Tourisme Pro – with the insurer Hiscox, guaranteeing Civil Liability for the marketing of travel services (tourist stays). In accordance with the provisions of articles L. 211-18 and R. 211-35 to R.211-40 of the Code du Tourisme, the subscriber is insured against the pecuniary consequences of Operating and Professional Civil Liability / After Delivery that may fall on him due to damage caused to third parties as a result of his activity as a travel agency.
Verdon Secret is the trademark used by our company for online bookings on the digital-Internet platform.
Verdon Voyages is a reseller of tours and travel services from a wide variety of approved service providers (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”). In order to offer you the highest quality service, we have created the websites https://verdonsecret.com and https://lesgorgesduverdon.fr (hereinafter The Website or The Platform) to make it easier for you to organize your stay in the Verdon. We sincerely hope you enjoy using our services.

3 Ethical conduct and good internet practices:

You agree to use https://verdonsecret.com and all websites affiliated with Verdon Voyages only for lawful purposes. By using our website, you agree to follow the rules below.
You will only use The Website to make legitimate requests to book holidays and other services that we offer through Verdon Voyages. This means no speculative, false or fraudulent requests. You also agree not to use robots or other automated means to access our products.
You agree that you are not a direct competitor to our company, stealing all our good ideas.
You are, however, invited to collaborate with us. We love affiliate programs and invite you to contact us to set up activity or accommodation bookings on our websites.
You declare that you are of legal age and have the right to accept these conditions.
Verdon Voyages does not condone offensive, indecent, inaccurate or inappropriate behavior or content.
We work hard on the content of our site and are specialists in the Verdon region: you agree not to copy our products and descriptions.
You agree not to use the site to threaten, stalk, defraud, incite, harass or advocate harassment of another person, or interfere with another person’s use of the site.
You agree not to use the site to transmit spam, chain letters, contests, junk mail, pyramid schemes, surveys, or any other annoying mass messages, whether or not you wish to earn money.
You agree not to cause harm to minors via our site and you will respect the right of publicity if you decide to send us photos of activities carried out using our service.
You will not use this site to promote bigotry, hatred or discrimination against anyone.
Finally, you agree not to try to hack our site. We have worked hard for this.

4 Content of the Verdon Voyages website

We reserve the right to remove content from our Site without notice and at our sole discretion. If a review or comment on an activity seems inappropriate, we will decide to delete it without any liability.
All your online contributions will be published. We welcome your photos, testimonials and comments. We like to interact with our customers. However, the form of your contributions remains at our sole discretion.
By spontaneously submitting content to us, you transfer to us the right to use it as we see fit (in compliance with the laws in force) and to publish it for a period that is solely binding on Verdon Voyages. Deletion of content is never definitive. We may reactivate your contribution at any time. If you send us a written request (e-mail) to delete content concerning you, we will have one month (upon receipt of your request) to make this deletion effective.

5 Activities offered by Verdon Voyages on its websites

The activities we offer for booking are generally not accessible to people with disabilities, unless this is expressly stated on the activity label. Please do not hesitate to contact us at the agency to discuss your requirements. We will do our utmost to ensure that everyone can discover our region.
Verdon Voyages is not responsible for information on services that we do not provide directly through our services and products.
We organize the booking of services provided by other people (the Providers) and try to help you find the activities or tours you are looking for.
Please read the descriptions carefully so that you can choose an activity that really meets your expectations.
Verdon Voyages does not guarantee the availability of any activity or accommodation offered by a Provider until your reservation has been confirmed and paid for.
The customer remains entirely responsible for his or her personal belongings throughout the duration of the activity or stay. Verdon Voyages cannot be held responsible for any material damage incurred during the activity; you are free to take out additional insurance.

6 Physical fitness and risks when booking activities or accommodation on our websites

With regard to the booking of activities or accommodation on the Website, VERDON VOYAGES acts as an intermediary between the Providers and the end users or Customers and must not be considered as a party to any contracts concluded between the Partners and the users of the Platform.

As a customer of our Provider participating in an activity offered on our websites, booking for yourself or for others, you are required to notify us of any health or fitness problems. If you have recently undergone surgery or are receiving medical treatment, you must inform the Verdon Voyages Provider. If you are booking for a group, you must ask these questions to each participant in your charge.

The Provider alone will decide whether to cancel the activity or offer you an activity in keeping with your state of health.
Some of the activities we offer for booking may require a certain physical or moral commitment, as well as a certain level of sporting expertise. Each participant is aware that this type of activity involves risks, however slight, and assumes them in full knowledge of the facts.

Verdon Voyages cannot be held responsible for the individual imprudence of one or more participants.

7 Service compliance and assistance

If you have any complaints about an activity or accommodation, you agree to inform us so that we can help you find a solution to your problem. We like to help our customers and are constantly striving to improve our service.

We make every effort to provide you with detailed descriptions of the activities, accommodations or stays we offer for booking. We provide you with all the information you need to ensure that your pre-contractual information is accurate. However, if you notice any non-conformity of an activity, we expressly ask you to inform us using the contact address below:

We are committed to providing you with the best customer service and will do our utmost to resolve your problem.

8 Prices, rates and revisions

All our prices are managed via our booking system and we are committed to giving you the best price available for the date chosen on each activity.
All prices on the Website are valid when displayed on the Verdon Voyages website, but these prices are subject to change (as long as the booking has not been confirmed) at any time by the Provider suppliers.
The prices shown on the site are per person, unless expressly stated otherwise on the activity sticker. If you’re not sure you’ve understood the pricing, or if you’re confused, contact us before booking. We’ll explain everything to you.
For activities, prices are shown inclusive of all taxes at the time of purchase.
Our prices do not include tips for your guides, tour directors or drivers, or any other such costs. If you are satisfied with their service you are free to tip or not to tip.
Any food or drink you may need to purchase during your trip is your responsibility. Sometimes meals and drinks are offered on tours and you must book them specifically as “extras”.
Read your booking summary carefully. It will tell you what is included and what is excluded from your purchase.

9 Modifying an activity booking

If you need to change your booking, send us a message and we’ll do everything we can to help you, free of charge. However, costs may increase (or decrease) as a result of changes to your booking. If this happens, we will inform you of any price increase (or decrease) as outlined in the previous box.

10 Cancellations

Cancellation of full-day and half-day activities:
Activities may be cancelled or postponed according to booking conditions. We will refund your purchase by applying a flat-rate deduction. All cancellations must be confirmed by e-mail. The full amount will be invoiced in all cases if you do not show up without cancelling (No show).
Unless otherwise stipulated at the time of booking and in the activity confirmation message, the cancellation conditions appear on our Site in the “Book online” tab and are as follows:

No right of withdrawal. Purchasers of tourism products do not benefit from the withdrawal period to which they are entitled when purchasing other products or services at a distance (articles L. 121-16-1 and L. 121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code).
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the present contract is not subject to the right of withdrawal. However, the traveler may cancel the contract at any time before the start of the trip and will be charged the following fees:
Cancellation/cancellation fee. The traveler may cancel/resolve the present contract according to the following cancellation scale:
Cancellation fee (on the total price of the trip) Outdoor activities: Outdoor 72
Less than 72 hours before the start of the activity: NO REFUND
More than 72 hours before the start of the activity: REFUND with a deduction of 5 euros per person (10 euros for electric boats).

Some activities require confirmation from the supplier. In this case, we mention it at the time of booking. You will receive an e-mail reminding you of this with the supplier’s telephone number or e-mail address.

Cancellations of :

– Packaged stays: more than 60 days, a fixed fee of 50 euros will be retained. between 60 and 7 days, 30% of the cost of the stay will be retained. Less than 7 days, no refund.
– Cancellation of rental accommodation :
Full refund with a 20-euro deduction for the traveler in the event of cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
If the reservation was made less than 30 days before arrival, full refund with a €20 deduction for cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation and at least 14 days before the arrival date.
For cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival, a 30% deduction will be applied. No refunds will be made after this period.

– Postponement: a postponement is considered as a cancellation and a new reservation. In this case, Verdon Voyages and the Partner may decide not to apply any charges. The decision is made on a case-by-case basis.

– Cancellation of a reservation for a campsite, hotel or residence: for hotels or campsites, please refer to the conditions of each accommodation by clicking on the clearly visible link which redirects you to the cancellation conditions.

Partial cancellation: any stay, activity or rental is due in full as soon as the service has begun. Partial cancellations are considered as cancellations and the above rules will apply.

We advise all travelers to take out comprehensive travel insurance to minimize possible financial and/or material losses due to unforeseeable situations arising during your trip. You agree to do so if it makes sense to you.

Special cases of activities subject to weather or water levels

Outdoor activities
Certain tours or services are sensitive to weather changes and may be cancelled or postponed by the Provider. We cannot control the weather as much as we would like.
For outdoor activities to take place in optimal conditions, a certain number of parameters must be met, which are at the discretion of the Provider, who will therefore confirm, postpone or cancel the booking. For example: unsuitable weather, water release, course maintenance, equipment problems, etc.
At the time of booking, an automatic confirmation message is sent to you. This message specifies your obligations for each activity.
In general, in the case of an outdoor activity, the confirmation message indicates a telephone number (that of the Provider) which you can call in case of doubt the day before before a certain time, in order to validate that all conditions are met for the activity to take place.
If you do not call the contact number provided at the time of booking within the specified time, cancellation will not be possible under the current cancellation conditions. Indeed, contacting the Provider is one of your obligations as a customer (if mentioned on your booking confirmation message).

If the supplier decides not to cancel the activity and you do not contact him as planned, you will not be entitled to any refund.

Activities with a required number of participants
Some activities may require a minimum or maximum number of passengers to take place. This number is indicated on each activity sticker. If by the deadline (indicated on the booking form), the minimum number of people required for the activity to take place has not been reached, Verdon Voyages or the service provider may cancel the activity under the following conditions, governed by article L.211-14 III of the French Tourism Code. The possibility of cancelling a holiday for lack of participants becomes degressive. It depends on the length of the stay. The information deadlines are as follows:
-20 days before departure if departure is more than 6 days
-7 days before the start of the trip if it lasts between 2 and 6 days
– 24 hours before the start of the trip if the duration of the stay is less than 2 days.
Please note that if you reduce the number of people in a booking, this will result in the cancellation of those passengers/participants. If you increase the number of participants, please note that the activity originally purchased may no longer be able to accommodate your new booking. We will do our best to provide you with what you need in compliance with safety conditions and with the agreement of the activity provider.

Cancellation by the provider for safety reasons
Cancellations may be made by activity providers due to weather conditions. Your safety is a major concern. If guides say it’s not safe to engage in an activity, we’ll always agree with them.
Our activity providers are qualified professionals, and as such, they take full responsibility for your safety. They act in accordance with the legal framework of their field of activity and apply all its provisions and recommendations.

Cancellation due to weather conditions decided by the Provider will result in a full refund and we will do our best to offer you an alternative.

Holiday vouchers: it is not possible to refund a booking paid for with holiday vouchers. If price conditions allow, only a non-refundable credit note valid for 1 year may be issued for future use.

11 Payment

Verdon Voyages acts as a payment intermediary between the Provider and yourself as a user of The Platform. Payments for activity, accommodation or holiday bookings are made via our secure payment gateway on The Website.
When you make a payment via our Website, a full payment or a deposit is debited from your credit card.
We are committed to making this process as secure as possible and use SSL and https security.

12 Use of your data

Under no circumstances will your data be passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
If you do not wish to be the subject of commercial prospecting by telephone, you can register free of charge on a list of opposition to telephone canvassing www.bloctel.gouv.fr. The person entering into this contract accepts to transmit his/her data for the purpose of its execution and guarantees that he/she has obtained the consent of the other travelers for the same purpose.
We’d love to see you again in the Verdon, so we’ll be sending you information about our new excursion and holiday offers (up to a limit of three mailings per year). I promise, your mailbox won’t be saturated with Verdon Voyages mailings).
Data is kept for no longer than is necessary for the following purposes:

Ordering a holiday: the data required to process your order will be kept for as long as is necessary to establish a right or a contract.
Management of the commercial relationship: data will be kept (at the latest) 3 years after the end of the commercial relationship.

In accordance with current legislation, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your personal data, as well as the right to oppose its processing for legitimate reasons.
