Gréoux les Bains

The Oasis of Verdon: so was called Gréoux Les Bains, the gateway to the Verdon Gorges, by the Provencal poet Jean Giono. The village is famous for its Provencal market and its Roman thermal baths. This is the place to go to learn more about the region. Moreover, the village has the one and only cinema that diffuses a movie called Verdon Secret. Then, Avignon and Arles are two historic cities located in the heart of Provence. Avignon is known as the “City of Popes”. Indeed, Avignon was the seat of the Catholic Church in the 14th century. Its impressive Palais des Papes is a testament to its rich history. The palace is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and houses a museum that showcases the city’s medieval art and architecture.

Arles is famous for its Roman heritage, including the impressive Arena of Arles. It’s a 2,000-year-old amphitheater that is still used for concerts and events today. The city is also home to the Romanesque Saint-Trophime church and the Roman theater.

J'ai fait l'activité Accro-Verdon : Personnel très compétent et sympa, matériel bon et sécurisé, je recommande totalement aux débutants et intermédiaires. Acclamations
Nous avons fait l’activité Packraft dans les gorges du Verdon, un mix de randonnée et canoë, avec Yacine, notre super guide patient, sympa, drôle, et qui plus est compétent. On a appris plein de choses pendant la marche, tout en en prenant plein la vue. Et la descente des gorges était juste incroyable car tout le début nous étions seules au monde grâce au parcours unique proposé par Yacine. Quelques rapides au début, mais vraiment faciles à passer.
Bref un endroit magnifique découvert dans des conditions parfaites ! Je recommande à tous !

Un lieu exceptionnel avec une rando hors des sentiers habituels et une balade en canoë avec des gorges du Verdon par endroit presque privatisées

Incroyable randonnée + kayak dans les gorges du Verdon, à ne pas esquiver
Super expérience! On a fait la randonnée et la descente en kayak. Tout était parfait on a vraiment passé une superbe après-midi. Foncez y
Packraft Gorges du Verdon : 1h de de marche agréable pour descendre vers le Verdon. Les sacs ne sont pas si lourds que ça (environ 6kg). Puis gonféage des bateaux et joli descente d'une heure jusqu'au lac St-Croix. Belle expérience ! Le premier kililomètre de canoe est le plus sportif ensuite c'est tout tranquille.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre petit moment dans les Gorges du Verdon grâce à l'agence Verdon Voyages. La plage horaire est suffisante pour faire l'aller-retour. Le rapport qualité-prix est top pour l'activité !
Nous avons juste mis du temps, une fois garés, à trouver où exactement sur la plage il fallait nous rendre pour embarquer ( absence de panneau à l'endroit exact) mais à part cela, l'expérience était top ! Merci encore.
